The Unusual Car Collection of Nick the Burlacher

Nick aka the Burlacher is an accountant by day and automotive YouTuber in his spare time. He became a regular face in the Automotive space via the Stradman channel. Nick was later convinced to start his own youtube channel by his friend James the stradman. He started his channel in 2018 and has since amassed a youtube following of over 300,000 subscribers. His videos have a family-friendly feel to them and always convey the fact that this man is having fun.

His car collection doesn’t include the rarest or most exotic cars on sale but reflects his personality and passion for cars in his own way. Here’s a list of 7 cars the Burlacher has owned;

1. BMW X5

Nick owned a 2013 BMW X5 which has been his daily driver from the time he started his adventure as a YouTuber. He loved this car a lot and did some light modifications to it like straight piping it by just cutting off the exhaust. Eventually, he moved on from this car but it still stayed in the family. He gifted the car to his parents for use in their daily commute.

2. Shelby GT350

The Burlacher as he is known on youtube comes from a family that loves Mustangs. He grew up with the sound of a mustang V8 always present in his Dad’s driveway. He continues the tradition with a 2016 Shelby GT350 fitted with the best V8 engine ford has ever made, making 526 horsepower. The Flat plan crank V8 aka Voodoo engine makes some of the best V8 sounds in any American car. This car was only offered with a 6-speed manual transmission. Nick put an exhaust on the car enhancing its presence.

The car was gray but being friends with the stradman he went the purple route. His car is currently wrapped in purple which has been featured on a lot of the stradman vehicles. White racing stripes were also added to the car to complete the Shelby racing look. Future plans for the Shelby include a supercharger for more power and we are looking forward to it.

3. Hummer H2

Nick was once again on the hunt for a daily driver to replace his BMW X5. He bought a yellow Hummer H2 from YouTuber and lord of the hoopties Tyler Hoover aka Hoovie’s garage for the princely sum of $4,000. He and James the stradman took a road trip to Hoovie’s residence in the state of Kansas to purchase the vehicle. The duo drove the car back with a pit stop in Colorado to visit Life of Palos before eventually making their way home. A lot of mild off-roading was done with this car, 80% of which was done in his backyard. The hummer has since been sold.

4. 1982 Rolls Royce silver Spur limousine

This is a fun one as Nick did not purchase this car himself, it was a gift from his friend James. Not much was done to this car but both Nick and James did a challenge to live in the car for 24hours. The car was later sold to a fellow YouTuber Lambo fam and was immediately wrapped purple to match the purple fleet.

5. 1st Gen Ford F150 Raptor

Another Ford makes it onto the list but this should come as no surprise. The raptor replaces the hummer as the new daily driver. The raptor is the more off-road capable version of America’s best-selling car the F150. The 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 produces 411 horsepower. The car was originally bought as a gray truck but was due for a wrap very soon. The Raptor was wrapped in purple but with a twist, it has a checkered pattern to go with the purple wrap and is dubbed “purple plaid”. It was also fitted with white wheels which I’m sure will be hard to keep clean. It has an exhaust to let the V8 growl and future plans to add a supercharger.

6. 2nd Gen Dodge Viper

Another yellow car joins the fleet in the form of the 1st gen dodge viper. The viper has always been a scary car to drive fast but equally just as fun. It has a V10 with 415 horsepower and comes with a removable hardtop which is great for a tall guy like Nick.  Shortly after getting the car, he added blue racing stripes to complement the car’s yellow paint

7. 1968 Ford Mustang

A mustang is once again present in the fleet but this one has a unique story to it. The car was originally owned by a family member looking to sell it. Nick and his dad made the decision to buy it from him and keep it in the family. The car was then wrapped in gloss blue which really brings out the beauty in this classic car.

What kind of cars do you own and what do you think of this car collection? Also what other YouTubers or celebrities would you like us to write about, let us know in the comments.
